Evertide Pelvic Health

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers about referrals, your first visit and what to expect.

Do you take insurance?

At Evertide, your full session is yours—one-on-one, without insurance dictating your time or care. Together, we decide what works best for you.

You can still submit a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Please inquire for specifics and pricing.

Is pelvic floor PT only for moms?

No. We work with women across the lifespan—athletes, menopause, chronic pelvic pain, and anyone whose bowel, bladder, or sexual health is getting in the way of an active life.

What does the evaluation include?

A detailed history, discussion of your goals, movement assessment, and pelvic floor exam (internal/external) based on your symptoms and comfort. You'll leave with a plan, not a pile of generic exercises.

Do I need a referral?

In Washington, you do not need a physician referral to see a physical therapist, including for pelvic health.

How many visits will I need?

It depends on your presentation and goals. Some clients see significant progress in a handful of sessions; others benefit from longer support. We'll discuss realistic expectations after your evaluation.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes you can move in—but more importantly, come as you are in clothes you feel comfy in!
