What it is
Postpartum recovery
Postpartum recovery is how your body heals and rebuilds after birth, vaginal or cesarean. Pregnancy and delivery stretch the pelvic floor and belly wall, can leave a tear or a C-section scar, and shift hormones that affect your tissues for months, especially while breastfeeding. The six-week check confirms you’re healing. It isn’t a plan for lifting, running, or feeling like yourself again.
Leaking, heaviness and a weak middle after birth are common, at six weeks or six years. They’re not something you have to live with.

In Katrina’s words
Postpartum recovery is called the "fourth trimester" because the gap between “you are cleared” and “you feel strong on a hike” is where most women get lost. We address scar mobility, pelvic floor coordination, diastasis, and the emotional weight of feeling broken.
You do not have to be a new mom to land here—any postpartum year counts.
